CHARITY DAY AUGUST 2026

In August, our Monthly Charity Day, (Thursday August 13)— where we donate 15% of the value of each book sold in the shop and online to a charity or organisation that we love to support — will be in support of Dementia Australia.

Dementia Australia helps families affected by Dementia, by keeping the National Dementia Helpline available 24/7, 365 days a year; providing expert guidance and compassionate support when families feel overwhelmed or unsure where to turn; directing dementia research into prevention and improved treatments, bringing hope to future generations. Every step forward brings us closer to a future with better care; and, supporting families to access trusted information and education so Australian families can understand a dementia diagnosis, feel less alone and more supported when fear or uncertainty strikes.

Last Charity Day in July, with your support we were able to donate to Vinnies’ Gift a Night off the Streets Appeal in providing a warm bed, hot meal and clean clothes to a person struggling on our streets in the cold tonight. Donations supported a night of accommodation for a person living on our streets—warm beds, showers, basic hygiene essentials, clean clothes and hot meals to people experiencing homelessness this winter.
